On the 11th of May, 2021, Phase Two of the Fame Mentorship Club Project began. This phase of our mentorship project focused on digital skills which serve as a solution to the identified digital divide, a leading cause of inequality in career progression and access to certain fields, especially “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
Our beneficiaries were introduced to basic digital skills with a central focus on areas that will boost their competitive advantage in the future of work.

While this program was initiated to help our Fame Global Leadership Program beneficiaries improve their digital skills, it also helped in fostering the basis of digital skills for the participants.

Participants learned the diverse aspects of digital skills such as finger placement, document creation, using the internet and creating email addresses & how to send emails and other aspects that helped them see that digital skills can help their potentials to cause a global impact.

The FAME Club digital skills came to an end on the 24th of June, 2021. The project is exposing the next generation of leaders to digital skills irrespective of their gender. More students from low-income families are getting an equal chance to succeed and beat the system. The FAME Club seeks to achieve this by equipping beneficiaries with practical skills to implement leadership in their daily lives as well as support themselves and their families.

You can support us in giving more students from low-income families access to leadership education and digital skills by partnering with us today. Together, we can equip more students in public secondary schools with critical skills and help them thrive!
