The highly anticipated leadership development program, Fame Global Leadership Programme 2021-2022, has finally kicked off on the 13th of October across public secondary schools in Oyo, and Osun States. The program is a year-long leadership development programme for deserving secondary school students in Nigeria. These students are sponsored to participate in the programme. 60 Students from each of the beneficiary schools are selected to participate in the Fame Global Leadership Programme from each of our institutional partner schools.
These selected beneficiaries undergo robust training on the following leadership themes, Self-Leadership, Identity, Purpose, Values, Character, Active Citizenship, and the SDGs for a duration of 6 – 12 weeks. The training programme influences each student to battle against their own preconceptions and paradigms to take action to form new and informed ones. New paradigms that will facilitate positive global change in the world. All participants are expected to implement the values and lessons learned to bring sustainable development to their own community.
After the 6 – 12 week-long experience, the participants are transited to the Fame Club Mentorship Project where the leadership development process continues via the acquisition of critical life skills for another 12 weeks. At the end of the programme, they are tasked to identify, organize and solve a problem in their own community alongside a stipend grant.
