Tell us about yourself?
I am Festus Akinyemi. I hail from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. I had my first degree in Business Administration at the College of Management Science, Federal University Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB). Presently, I work as a full-time Educational Trainer and Analyst at FXGiants.
How did you learn about FAME and why did you join the team?
I learned about FAME from the FAME daily nuggets which I used to see every day on an old friend WhatsApp status. The nuggets motivated me to join FAME. I went online to research what the FAME initiative was all about. After thorough research, I decided to apply for the FAME Global leadership program in the year 2020. Ever since then I have never regretted joining the Fashioned and Made for Excellence Foundation.
So, what roles do you play in FAME?
I participate in all FAME activities. I belong to the public relations team. I play an influencer role at FAME. I promote FAME on all my social media platforms.
How has the FAME Journey been?
To be honest, it has been an amazing journey. I have been able to connect and network with changemakers, I have been able to work with Humans of Fame – who are brilliant team members. FAME exposed me to LinkedIn; which has significantly contributed positively to my career in the financial industry.
What impact has FAME had in your life?
FAME has given me everything I needed to become the best version of myself in all ramifications of life; socially, academically and spiritually. I am so grateful to be a part of this family.
Is there any fun fact about you that you would love to share with us?
Yes. In high school, I was the President of the Business and Capital Market. I led my brilliant team members during a stock exchange competition. My school came top at the local level. Ever since then, I have been a leader and I have been holding leadership positions in every organization I found myself in.
